Extra tip: One pack of cucumber festival is enough to preserve 3 kg of cucumbers (including the necessary brine). When preparing cucumber festival, it is added to the brine with which the cucumbers are to be doused. Cucumber solid acts as a preservative and can therefore be combined with pickling spices.
