Very popular among true beer connoisseurs – our wheat beer specialty, Andechser Weissbier Hell. This yeasty wheat beer was first brewed in 1993 for St. Joseph's Day. A crisp and sparkling flavor delights the palate. Light fish dishes and grilled seafood, such as a scampi and salmon skewer or a fresh herring fillet, harmonize wonderfully with the fruitiness of our Andechser Weissbier Hell.
Appearance: Light honey color, yeasty, with a very creamy and fine-pored head.
Nose: Distinctive fruit aromas such as banana and honeydew melon, as well as the delicate scent of cloves, are prominent.
Aromatic: A finely yeasty, tangy flavor with a full and smooth beer body. The finish delights with the harmonious balance of light honey sweetness paired with elegant acidity. The hop bitterness remains discreetly in the background.
Bitterness: Light hop bitterness.
Food pairing: Light dishes such as fish, poultry, and pasta with delicate flavors.
